Earl Hammond (June 17, 1921 — May 17, 2002) was an American actor and voice actor. He was born Erwin Saul Hamburger in New York. He started his career as a radio actor and then went on to star in a number of TV series as well as appearing in three Broadway plays. 

Late in his career, he became a voice actor, supplying voice-overs for the TV series Star Blazers, The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Video, Silverhawks, and ThunderCats. He provided the voice of Mumm-Ra, Jaga, and several other characters on ThunderCats.

  • Pope John Paul II personally selected him to be his "voice" on the audio book made from the Pope's book "Crossing the Threshold of Hope".
  • He provided the voice of Megatron in a series of read-along Transformers book and record sets from the mid-1980s.
