Bengali is a toy that was released in Series 3 of the LJN Toyline and is based on the 80's version ThunderCats series character Bengali.

Features[]

The toy featured the "Battle-Matic Action" whereby pushing down the lever on its back made Bengali's arm move up and down. The figure also had poseable arms, head and legs.

Accessories[]

The only accessory included with the figure was the Hammer of Thundera. This blue plastic hammer, while similar in appearance to its cartoon counterpart, was proportionately much larger in scale. In some catalogues, Bengali was shown holding a completely different hammer. While this hammer was also blue in color, it was shaped more like an axe.

Variations[]

There are two known variations of the Bengali figure. One version had a white plastic head with blue painted on it and also the body was a cyan-blue color. The other version had a blue plastic head with white painted on it and a light blue body. It is thought that the cyan Bengali was produced in Europe while the light blue Bengali was a U.S.A. product.

The Hammer included with the figure was also slightly darker in color in some figures and slightly lighter in others.

The packaging of the figure had two variations as well. Some packaged Bengali figures came with a Name Sticker on the plastic bubble encasing the figure while in some packaging this sticker was absent.
