History[]
These abilities were misused by the Mutants and Mumm-Ra to bring to life serpents made from the waters of the Baleful Swamp. At the end of a conflict with the ThunderCats, the Totem of Dera was lost in the struggle afterward in the toxic waters of the Baleful Swamp, from where it has yet to be recovered.
