The Lunataks of are a fearsome group of six very power hungry and evil alien raiders from the Moons of the planet Plun-Darr. They once tried to overthrow Mumm-Ra on Third Earth, but he defeated them and encased them in molten lava in the forbidden territories of Dark Side. After Mumm-Ras near defeat at Fire Rock Mountain and 3 new Thundercats (Ben-Gali, Lynx-O and Pumyra) on the horizon, he had Ma-Mutt pose as him and order the Mutants to release the Lunataks. They are so vicious, clever and powerful Lion-O once said "It seems whatever we can do the Lunataks can do better," but because the Lunataks don't work together as well as the Thundercats do the Thundercats can beat them.
