‘’ThunderCats Ho!, Part 5" is the seventieth episode of ThunderCats (original series).
Summary[]
Lion-O and Hachiman are reconciled and the pair close in on rescuing the Thunderians from Fire Rock Mountain. Unfortunately, Lion-O is still unable to get past the Thundrainium to save them. Jaga tells Lion-O of the power of the Star of Thundera, which can cancel the effects of the thundrainium, and that he himself will retreive it for the Thundercats use and be back as soon as possible.
Mumm-Ra hears of this and sends Grune to stop Jaga from getting the power of the star for Lion-O, but Grune fails. After giving the stars' power to Lion-O, Mumm-Ra manages to steal it from him. Mumm-Ra, trying to possess the stars' powers, is instead destroyed by said power. Lion-O saves the Thunderians, and anoints them Thundercats. Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O.
