Wally was the name of a species of animal. Two known sub-species exist.

Eggbert and Oswald had a conversation on tracks. Among the noted are two subspecies of Wallys, the great tepid wally, and the lesser knot wally. The greater wally is extinct, but the lesser is alive and living on New Thundera, well according to Oswald, anyways.
